How to simulate Brazilian Cup

  1. Choose the Brazilian Cup stage you want to simulate.

  3. Enter penalties when needed and follow the qualifying teams to the final.

Simulation questions

How is the aggregate score calculated?

For two-legged ties, the calculator adds each club’s goals across both matches. Single-match stages use just that game. The format depends on the selected season.

How do Brazilian Cup tiebreakers work?

The simulator applies the loaded season’s rules and asks for penalty scores when needed. See “Rules for this edition” to check which stages have one or two matches and how qualification is decided.

Can I edit completed matches?

Enable “Edit completed results” to explore other paths. “Undo” reverts the last change and “Clear simulation” restores the real results from the loaded baseline.

Are all future matchups already decided?

No. The tool uses known fixtures and indicates those awaiting confirmation. A simulation does not confirm the outcome of a future draw.

Do predictions change the official results?

No. The scores you choose belong only to your scenario. Player cards, goals and assists remain real statistics; the simulation does not predict title probabilities.

Where is my scenario saved?

Predictions are saved in this browser when local storage is available. They are not synced to other devices and may be lost when you clear browser data.

Rules for this edition

The first two rounds are single matches. Round 3 through the final are played over two legs.

Ties are decided on penalties, with no extra time or away-goals advantage.

A duplicate postponed record was excluded from the bracket; the played match was retained.

Some past matches have no shootout score in the source. In those cases, qualification was identified by participation in the next stage.
