Teams level on points are first separated by head-to-head points, goal difference and goals scored. These criteria are reapplied to teams still tied. Next come overall goal difference, goals scored, away goals, wins, away wins, lower disciplinary points and club coefficient.
The table preserves the source's published positions. Disciplinary and coefficient data required for the final tie-breakers are not estimated from incomplete information.
Knockout draw, home advantage and decisions
In the round of 16, each group winner faces a runner-up from a different group and national association. Group winners host the second leg. Subsequent draws determine the path to the final.
Ties are played over two legs through to the semi-finals. The final is a single match. Away goals do not apply: an aggregate draw leads to extra time and, if needed, penalties.
