Palmeiras vs Bahia: Everything You Need to Know for Today’s Match!

Hey, Palmeiras fans! Today is match day, and the atmosphere is really heating up! Palmeiras is preparing to face Bahia in the 29th round of the Campeonato Brasileiro. Let’s talk about how the team is coming and everything you need to know so you don’t miss a thing!

Palmeiras Starting Lineup

The ball is set to roll at 21h30 (Brasília time), straight from the Nubank Parque. Check out Palmeiras’ lineup for this match:

• Carlos Miguel
• Gustavo Gómez, Barboza and Murilo
• Khellven, Marlon Freitas, Lucas Evangelista, Andreas Pereira and Arthur
• Flaco López and Vitor Roque

Want to keep an eye on the updates? Giay and Arias, who were in action during the Data Fifa, will start on the bench to recover their energy. They were starters in all three matches for their national teams, so it’s understandable!

But don’t worry, because Khellven and Lucas Evangelista will shine as starters. Meanwhile, our beloved Gustavo Gómez and Flaco López return to the starting XI after not playing all of the Data Fifa matches.

Ah, just to make it clear: the Uruguayans Piquerez and Emiliano Martínez weren’t able to get back in time for training because they were playing in India. And also, Maurício and Sosa, who were representing Paraguay alongside Gómez, begin the match on the bench.

Abel Ferreira in the Stands

A bit of a downer for us is that Abel Ferreira won’t be on the bench today. He is serving his final match of suspension due to a scuffle after kicking a microphone in the match against Mirassol.

The Fight for the Title

Palmeiras is hunting Flamengo! Currently, the Verdão starts the round with 57 points, only three behind the league leader. It’s time to win this match and stay strong in the race for the title!

How Is Bahia Coming?

Now, let’s take a look at what Bahia brings to the game:

• Ronaldo
• Román Gómez, David Duarte, Kanu and Luciano Juba
• Acevedo, Jean Lucas and Rodrigo Nestor
• Kike Olivera, Erick Pulga and Alejo Véliz

Let’s Cheer!

So that’s it, folks! Stay tuned, and let’s all support our Verdão as they go after this win! Avante, Palmeiras!
